An informative meeting on combating drug abuse was held in the Şehit Canbert Tatar Conference Hall of our faculty, in collaboration with our University and the Elazığ Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Narcotics Branch. The meeting was attended by our academic and administrative staff.

Eyüp Esergün from the Anti-Narcotics Branch of the Elazığ Police Department provided information on the factors influencing young people to start using drugs and the spread of drug use. He also highlighted effective methods of combating drug abuse and emphasized the critical role families play in this effort. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, which was highly productive.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our University’s Rectorate and the officials of the Elazığ Provincial Police Department for their valuable contributions to organizing this important meeting.
