As part of the Teachers' Day Celebration Week, a special program was held at our faculty with high participation and a vibrant atmosphere. The event was organized with contributions from the Turkish Language Teaching Program and the Department of Basic Education. Attendees included our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Doğru, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nuri Gömleksiz, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Yiğit, Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences and Head of the Department of Basic Education Prof. Dr. İrfan Emre, academics, school administrators and teachers from the Ministry of National Education, and our student teacher candidates.

The program began with opening speeches by Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Yiğit and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk Polatcan, Head of the Turkish Language Teaching Program, who highlighted the significance of the day. Following the speeches, special songs for Teachers' Day were performed by Mustafa Öztürk, a lecturer from our University’s State Conservatory, accompanied by the student choir from the Department of Basic Education. The event continued with video messages from alumni of our faculty, and a panel was held where Abdullah Büyük, a Turkish teacher from Cumhuriyet Secondary School, along with our alumni Gülnihan Tunç, Uğur Kıraç, and Yağmur İpek shared their professional experiences.
